Someone Who Cares (not about what others think)
Screw those people that say you can't do something or that you're not good enough. Their only purpose is to either push you down or make you stronger. You decide what effect they will have on you. You can either try changing yourself to meet their expectations, or you can ignore them and find someone who will respect and love you for who you are. So many people get pushed around, hurt, and broken for the things they are not. Why not focus on what they do have, and love and appreciate it?
Who cares if you're not equal in perfection, sometimes people become attracted to each other like magnets for no specific reason. Also, stop telling yourself that you're not good enough for the person you love. If they love you, and you love them, push differences aside and come together as a whole.
Say Goodbye (to lazy depression)
You never know what life has planned for you. When you lose something or someone, I learned not to sulk in the corner and cry, feeling ever so lonely. Instead, the time to rejoice is necessary. When something is gone, it means life put that event on your track for a reason. Whatever the reason, it was not a random, useless event.
Losses are key events in our life that can make or break our future. We have to learn how to get up off of our ass and make our future, or another future better somehow. Don't become selfish by seeking help or comforting, instead, help and assist the one whom you would normally run to. Show them how much you appreciate that person. If you claim you have no one, go find someone. There's always a person we can turn to.
Best friends come in pairs, not singles, not doubles, in order to have one, you have to get one yourself. You can't sit and wait for the train to come by, for once you board, it may be the wrong train. Go out and seek your destined train and board it.
Bad Day (Yep. I had one) (On August 20th)
My week has been terrific and terrible at the same time. Yes, It's very possible.
I've made three new friends this week. Their names are Steven, Amy, and David. Amy just moved from Tecumseh. David is my close friends' nemesis which I can trust with any secret and I know he can always make me smile. Steven is a nosy kid that loves gossip even though he has no idea who any of my friends are.
Sadly, The new friends came at a price. Two of my friends quite talking to me for the most part. One is just moody. The other is just...I don't know. They were two people that I consider myself to be pretty close to, I'm not sure if they feel the same way though. Only David knows how badly this has me upset. Amanda and Clarissa kinda do, but only to an extent.
My sleeping disorder has been identified! Kinda. It's called Hypersomnia. I have a mild form so that's good. It's not good though that my body requires five more hours of sleep than normal teenagers. If you can do your math that equals fourteen-fifteen hours. Which means if I were to sleep for that long, I'd only get one hour outside of school and awake to do stuff. But since when do I actually listen to doctors?
It was raining ridiculously hard when I walked to school. By the time I got there, my jeans and sweater were drenched. My feet were swimming in my shoes. It took until fifth hour to dry, which is about halfway through the day. The clothes weren't that big of a deal. It was my MP3 player that devastated me. That thing had been with me since elementary school and I have shown it nothing but love. After all it has been through, the rain took it away from me. Maybe it will start working later, I don't know though. I turn in on every hour to see if it has improved at all. No success yet. :(
I'm currently researching my father and what his life was like. So far, I've come to find that he was rich and worked for an international law firm. He got sent to places all over the world such as Dubai, the wealthiest place in the world, unless that changed. I'm not sure if knowing more about him makes me feel a lot better or a lot worse. It made me cry thinking about it all earlier, but now it makes me smile.
Everyday so far, I've been engaged in a political debate. Most of the conversations was with Amanda, but some were with Clarissa too. I came to learn that Obama is much worse than I thought he was. I'll save that for another day's blog though.
School. I adore my English, Latin/Greek, and Newspaper teachers. My French teacher is way too peppy. Amanda and I can't get over how much her constant smiling bothers me. My Science and IED teachers just scare the crap out of me. They're not mean at all, but they just have that mean voice, if that makes sense at all. I've had my math teacher before and I'm glad I have her after my favorite class, otherwise her soft voice would soothe me to sleep. It did last year all of the time. It's way too soft for my liking. I adore the fellow students in my English, Newspaper, IED, and Latin/Greek classes. Newspaper is my favorite class because there's a small amount of people in the class and we all get along very well. Newspaper is what keeps me in school this year and it brings a smile to my face the second I walk in.
Live Free or Let Me Die (with my family by my side)
I hate the car ride home after a family gathering. All you hear the whole way is the echoed conversations and laughs that you shared. All you see is there faces floating around in your mind with their lit-up faces. All you feel is the absence that exists once you realize that it will be a while before you see them again, regardless of what was promised while you were there. ....
This family meeting had an eerier feeling to it though. It was the last time I’ll see my favorite uncle until May when he returns from the war in Afghanistan. It comforts me to know that the last conversation we had wasn’t one of those sad goodbye conversations. It was a humorous conversation that only he, my other uncle, my two cousins, and I would share. It was, of course, about dissolvable stitches. Cousin Number One mentioned how they were made of cat tendons. Me being the only girl in the group, felt awkward when Uncle Number One mentioned that his wife, whom recently had a baby, has cat tendons along her “lower area”. The last words he spoke to me were, “Don’t worry, you’ll have them soon enough.”....
After that, I couldn’t help but laugh when I thought about what would happen if he were to be killed in Afghanistan. I couldn’t help but think that our last conversation was about cat tendons and vaginas. A thought, that if I were to share with anyone else, they would scold me and tell me how inappropriate it is to say such a thing. My grandma and parents would be particularly upset to see that I would be laughing beneath the tears at the funeral. ....
The humor the five of us share between each other surely is something special. It’s the kind of humor that anyone else would call “morbid” or “unruly”. Maybe even “horrendous” and just plain “dumb.” The humor between us is unlike the humor that I share with anyone else.....
My friends and I sometimes talk about such things, but other things I cannot mention because it will be followed by silence and maybe even someone getting up from the table. Unlike them, I can be myself around my family. I know that my family will always find a way around whatever it is and we’ll all be laughing about it within a matter of seconds of days, depending on the situation.....
I never realized any of this until now. I never realized how my family really is my best friends. I never realized how family isn’t just the people you live with. When I hear those quotes about how your family is forever. The people I live with just don’t get along very well, but the family of my step-dad is so amazing I can’t begin explaining their supreme awesomeness. All I can say is that if they were Transformers, you would so get p’wned! If they were Pokemon, you would stare in awe. If they were Ninja Turtles, The night would end in tears from laughing so hard. If they were Power Rangers, you would be running in the opposite direction.....
I also love how each and every one of us plays a role in the huge mess we call our family and there’s always room for new titles
Situations (that occur throughout my day)
I figured I would make a blog about my classes and the people in them as a way of getting to know about me a bit more.
First hour, I am a TA (Teacher's assistant) for Mrs. Sarah Powley, an English teacher. That's her prep hour, so there's no class, which disappointed me when I found out because I am always on the lookout for eye candy, but I got the next best thing, a friend. Courtnee is a TA with me and I'll tell you what, she's pretty awesome. every Monday, we name my phone. In the past it has been named Guavo and Moo. We have so much fun running around the school taping up posters and opening the blinds and pushing chocolate as if it were a drug, for some people, like us, it is a drug.
Mrs. Powley herself is an interesting character. I would definitely adopt her as a grandma. She's so crazy and silly during her prep hour. If you saw her any other time, you probably wouldn't believe me.
I have IPR (Interpersonal Relationships) second hour. I don't have any friends in this class, but it can still get interesting when we have certain discussions. I truly adore the feminist conversations that insult the guys in the room, a debate results from it and I love my debates.
Third hour is Speech with Mrs. (Ms.) Whitcombe. I would adopt her to be my aunt because she's so silly and crazy as well. Once a semester, she throws on a bunny outfit and calls herself Witty Whitcombe. Don't worry, there are pictures. She's also my speech team coach. The enthusiasm she has for speech inspires me.
Jordan, a fellow speechie, is also in that class with me. Together, we laugh as all of the speech team jokes Whitcombe throws around that the rest of the class don't understand. I worried about having her as a teacher for Speech, because I knew she would expect me to do better, but besides the jokes, I feel I am more of a student than a speechie. Anywho, back to Jordan, Jordan's cool too. And he doesn't annoy me. His racist and sexist jokes, ironically, can make my day. I sometimes can't believe that Jordan is the same kid from elementary school, the kid I strongly disliked. Thanks to Facebook, we all call him Jordy-Poo now.
Junior, which is not his real name, is much like me. He's passionate about many things, reads, and can be talkative all in the same. I barely know this kid, but I hope I'll get to throughout this speeding semester.
Up next is fourth and fifth hour. These are shortened class periods due to the lunch hours, which is why we have two of them. This subject, Algebra II, I hate, I despise, I find many parts useless. The classmates and teacher, however, I love to death.
Mireya used to be my best friend from first grade, up to fifth grade and a little bit of sixth. After that though, we barely saw each other and moved on. I'm very glad to have her in a class of mine and I'm also very glad that we're becoming closer, because I really missed her.
The rest of the class, well, we all have a part to play. We're a big family, or at least that's how I see it. First semester of this year, my family was tenth hour IED, unfortunately, as you'll read later, we're not a family any longer, which is why I'm pleased to be in such a brilliant math class. We almost always get off subject and manage to distract Mrs. Charlesworth. We talk about anything and everything. This class has no limits. We'll talk about anything under the sun; snow, music, who's dating who, and even the hyper ADD (ADHD) kid in the back of the room, but don't worry, it's not in a mean way. And for the first time in a long time, I understand math. It's brilliant!
Next is Earth and Space Science AKA sixth and eighth hour. Between it we have lunch, and I'll get to that later. I have Miss Plasack, Vlasick, whatever it is, I don't like her. Everyone seems to think she's hot, but she annoys me. She wears way too much lip gloss and her nasal voice irks me. Irregardless, I feel bad for her. My class is a teacher's nightmare. They talk, break things, yell, run around, ETC. They're pretty much all stoners, boozers, and preps.
Lunch, seventh hour lunch, where do I begin? Many people sit at our table, but our side trumps the other side, which is made up of Kris, Jordan, Ian, Brandie (The newbie), Cody, Tim, Mickaela, and I'm forgetting someone...Oh well. This half is the perverted, few limits, half. We joke about sexual acts all of the time! If not that, then we're usually talking about one of three things: Cody's douchiness, making fun of someone, or arguing. Again, we all have a role. Tim is the loud one. Jordan's the trash guy. I am the whore. (LONG story!) Mickaela is the quiet one. Cody is, as said before, the one everyone wants to beat up. Ian is the boss. He takes charge and bosses all of us around, and we usually listen to him. Who knows why though. Kris, well, Kris is the perverted uncle that makes us wish we don't know him, but we do so why not enjoy it? Brandie, she's the newbie. We'll find her actual spot later, once she gets used to us.The way I describe it, lunch sounds like fun, but it isn't, not for me anyways. I am always getting teased for being short, female, dazed, and for other nonexistent reasons. I walk out upset a lot, or at least I used to. Now Ian and I walk to the music hallways afterwards and wait for the band kids so we can make fun of them.
Then it's back to ESS for another half an hour.
Ninth hour is another friendless class, English with Mrs. Spray. I at least have acquaintances. For example, Daniel. Daniel sits beside me. Daniel is an interesting dude. He is always cracking simple jokes and staring at me, with the sole purpose of making me feel awkward.
Tenth hour, the final class of the day, is IED AKA Introduction to Engineering and Design. I used to love this class. I sat next to an adorable little Freshman. Not anymore though. What used to be a family, (As mentioned earlier), is now broken up into different class periods. We no longer know all of each other's names and we no longer have had all of the same IED experiences, the humorous ones at least. There's no one I talk to in my new IED class. Which can be a good thing, because now I'm actually trying.
In IED, we use an awesome program called Autodesk Inventor. I just got done making a clock and right now, as I am typing this, it is being printed into an actual plastic object. I'm so excited. My clock will be amazing. Even my teachers, Mr. Jacobs and Mr. (Gaga) Hruskocy say so.
So there you have it! Minus the passing periods, after school, and before school segments, that's my school day.

Darling (My rant of the day)
Everyday I get people that tell me I'm not good enough or that my ways/thoughts are wrong. If that's true, then I'm glad that I at least matter otherwise you wouldn't be worrying about them.
I do one thing to keep someone from being in pain because I know how it feels and then that same person turns around and causes me pain. Why do I bother helping people when I usually end up getting hurt afterwards or sometimes even during the process? Why do I bother helping if they're just going to make me regret it?
I can't handle the stress of my current life. I realize that many have it way worse than I do and have no problem handling it, but that's them, not me. I can't handle school work, home, boyfriend drama, and all other aspects of my life. Is it too selfish to ask for a break? One moment of silence?
Now my rant is going to be cut short so I can go fix a crisis with a friend...Perfect timing, huh?

High School Years (and all of the people in them)
When people hear my name many years from now, I want them to think of me in a much different way than they think of me now. I want to be seen as a friend to all and a generous, loving, kind, etc. person. I don't want to be the person I am now. All anybody sees when they look at me is a book-loving nerd that doesn't go outside of her circle most of the time. Instead, I hope to be the girl that everyone knows they can find a true friend in.
My life has been carefully molded around the lives of the people in my world and I will consider to do so. If people lose their place in my life, I want it to be their fault, (Tres harsh). I don't want to look back at my life and feel terrible and horrible because I ruined or missed out on a good friendship. Numerous, countless, people have lost their place already and I do regret that some of those lost relationships were my fault.
For those that are still in my life, or have just entered, I pray that you will always be there. Among the ones that mean most to me and that I must let you know about are as follows(In no specific order):
My cousin Tegan-We've grown up together since before I can remember and so many laughs have been shared with you. There was a point where we barely talked or even saw each other, but about 11 months ago, you re-entered and I had an actual big sister again. I appreciate all that you have done for me and I hope we will forever be close, even though you're starting a family and I'll be off to the east soon.
Holly-I'm so beyond glad that my prayers came through when you didn't move across the country as expected. I don't know where I would be without you. I don't know how I would have gotten through the last tough months without you. I already wrote a much more detailed note to you, so I'm sure you already know how much you mean to me.
Heather-I was not as into God and Christianity until I met you. Sure, you were a freak at first, but that's what made me come back to youth and it sucks so much that you're no longer in our youth group. I will always remember you until I get old and I hope to touch lives like you have touched mine. Keep being you!
Nathan (AKA Honso AKA Pirate)-Where do I even start to describe your sheer awesomeness? I can always count on you for a good conversation or a good rant. I don't think there's anyone I trust as much as I trust you and I hope you trust me as well. I can see our friendship going a long way in the future. Sometimes when I'm in the worst possible mood, I just have to pick up my phone and you're usually there with a genius way to make me laugh. Laughter goes so far with me and I'm glad I can share so much of it with you.
Ian-(Yep. Your ex is on here and you must think it's humorous)Ironically enough, you keep me in tune with reality. When things change in my life, I can always count on you to lift me up and help keep me on task even if you don't know it. I always have so much fun around you even if we're at a dumb speech meet or are sitting in an emo corner listening to screamo and watching farmers hump each other. I know I used to really dislike you and I'm glad that I no longer want to kick the crap out of you, or at least hire someone because I'm too much of a wuss. Keep up the annoyingness and utter awesomeness!
Shortcake Strawberry Stephanie-Again, where do I begin? You always know how to make me laugh, even though it isn't on purpose. It's a shame we don't see each other as much as we would like to, but who says that's the most important thing in a friendship? I've known you for what seems like a millennium and I know that I can tell you anything, free of any judging. Stay gold, Ponyboy, stay gold. Or in your case, Mexican. :P JK Love ya!
Lauren (AKA Dean)-Your probably pissed enough that Ian is one person away from you and you probably read that laughing, or you stared at the words before clicking the back button because there were too many (JK). Anywho, I've told you before how I value you as my friend, but sometimes I don't think you get it. I'm sad to see that we have really lost touch, but you and your spazticness will always be a part of me. Somehow, you always know something is wrong even if I'm smiling. Thanks for being there when others weren't.
Michael, my moon-I don't think I even need to say anything to you. This entire blog is dedicated to you. I love you and miss you and I hope that you're happy with grandma and I know you'll get a kick out of Daniel.
If you aren't one of the above, I promise that that doesn't mean I don't love you as much as I love the ones above. It probably just means that Nathan is getting impatient and I'm hungry. I promise if you stick around, you'll see your own paragraph in another post. There's too many people in my life that are killer cool. I don't know how I'll ever fit you all in. I'm extremely gifted to have such an amazing cast in my life. Thanks to all of you!
